Toothbrush Love
Choose a well ventilated and clean container for your toothbrush. This will reduce growth of bacteria by allowing the toothbrush to dry. Once you are at your chosen spot, leave your toothbrush out on a clean surface to give it enough drying time.

Dental Kit
Pack floss, picks, toothpaste and mouthwash. You can pick up all of these in travel size. If you rather not buy travel size, we suggest you get small, reusable containers.

Keep to Your Routine
Make sure you keep to your morning and evening dental routines. Brushing and flossing should continue to be made a priority. While you should want to bring home souvenirs, bad oral habits shouldn’t be one of them.

Chew Gum & Stay Away from Sugar
We don’t like being the barer of bad new and completely understand that vacation is the perfect time to let loose and eat what you’d like but balance is the optimal choice. Choose sugar free beverages and healthy treats instead of repeated high-sugar options. If you do indulge and cannot clean your teeth soon after, grab a piece of sugar-free gum. Chewing will increase saliva flow to get rid of extra debris and minimizing the growth of cavity-causing bacteria.

Appointment
Make an appointment before you head out for vacation. Make sure your teeth and gums are in perfect condition. His will allow you to go with a peace of mind knowing you won’t need to find a dentist. However, if you can’t make it in before, come in after. We would love to make sure your beautiful smile stays beautiful.
